30º-42º L
Amber malt is a more toasted form of pale ale malt and is typically used in Brown Porter but also lends itself nicely to amber, red and some Belgian styles
recipes. This malt has no diastatic power.

Too dark to be amber?
Recieved my order nice and quickly. Opened the package and the label read "Thomas Fawcett 55L". From what I've found online, the average for the Amber Malt is in the 30L - 42L range. Other than that, the packaging was great. Air tight package (non-crushed). Wort is currently being eaten up by Yeasties so I won't know the flavor impact for a couple more weeks.
