Excellent aromatic qualities make Azacca™ a go-to hop for late and dry hop additions in a variety of styles, although its high myrcene fraction has already made it a favorite of IPA brewers. Shows well as a single hop in a simple grist.
Intense and tropical. Sustained impressions of citrus and very ripe mango, with notes of orchard fruit (pears, apples) and pine needles throughout. Use in: Big American Ales, IPA, Pale ales, Ambers.

newer ipas bursting with this flavor
I was able to taste a single hop ipa recently and decided to use it with Amarillo simcoe and centennial in an an ipa. In that single hop beer, I noted orange, ciitrusy notes. Really liking what I created with the other hops. I will adjust the recipe to make it more pronounced in the next batch. Note I'm seeing it used with mosaic and citra in commercial beers.

Pineapple hops
I've used Azacca in several IPAs now, and each one has turned out delicious. Azacca has a very distinct Pineapple aroma to me, and pairs extremely well with Citra and Mosaic. The latest one, I fermented with the Vermont IPA yeast from Omega, and was probably the best brew I've done to date. Huge aroma and flavor of Pineapple, Mango, Peach, and hints of Spice in the background. Do yourself a favor and try these out if you haven't already.

Well packaged, great aroma
Used this as a second dry hop for a mango IPA, used Citra for the first dry hopping. Ended up with a great tropical fruit aroma and wonderful flavor. Would definitely use these again.

Very Peachy
The "orchard fruit" descriptor that you often see with this hop is on point. Right out of the bag (sealed wonderfully by Farmhouse), these hops streamed w/peachy, floral, and stone fruit flavors. I used it in a farmhouse IPA along with some homegrown Cascade for dry-hopping. I think this hop would be lacking on its own but it plays well with others. Might be a great combo w/other stone fruit hops like Galaxy, Mosaic, or Citra.
