Defoamer 105 is a 10% silicone food-grade emulsion designed to control foam. It is quick acting and disperses easily throughout the wort. Use in the brew pot while boiling the wort.
Usage: 1-2 drops per gallon. Do not exceed this dosage or your beer will exceed FDA limitations for silicon content.
CAUTION: Harmful if swallowed. Causes eye irritation.

First thing you will notice is that this is a concentrated foam control agent...1 drop is tated for 5 gallons. Me being a red blooded American male I use 4 drops for 14g starting volume boil and it works better than fermcap in my opinion.

Great for making starters
I use this when making starters in my Erlenmeyer flask. 1-2 drops and I haven't had a starter boil over since!
