A bit disappointed
Brewed an IPA with a ton of Lemon Drop. Was hoping it was going to be more of a lemony candy like flavor but for as many hops as I used, it left something to be desired. It wasn't bad but didn't pop like I wanted it to.

Very nice hop
Got more heavy grassy/pepper than citrus, but the citrus was still present. Overall a nice ingredient.

Good as a compliment
I recently used this as a stand alone hop. It pro duced some nice aroma and flavor, but should be paired with another if intense hopping is desired.

Lemony, lemony armpits.
As a fan of Citra, I've been looking for something similar to use as a late addition and/or dry hop. Had Lemon Drop IPA at a local craft brewery the other day, and couldn't stop thinking about it til I got some for myself. It smells like extremely lemony armpits and it comes across in the flavor. I've got it in 2 IPAs right now, and I think it would work great anywhere you'd use any of the C-hops for flavoring and aroma.

Great Hop
I did a pale ale with this hop for both aroma/flavor and dry hop and got great results. It really lands between Fuggles and Cascade nicely. Citrus but earthy.

Great for Wheat Beer
I recently used this in a wheat beer fermented with Wyeast 3068. Produced a really nice citrus flavor - more lemon than orange. Subtle aroma. Produced a tasty beer.
