Less highly-roasted than regular chocolate malt. Will add dark brown color and a
mild chocolate/coffee flavor to dark milds, stouts, and porters.

I replaced standard chocolate malt with this malt in a couple of recipes, mostly stouts. I ended up liking it better than standard chocolate malt. It adds nice color, complexity, and aroma to the finished beer AND the mash. I may or may not have eaten like oatmeal out of a small bowl after mash out.
