This strain produces ales with a full chewy malt flavor and character, but finishes dry, producing famously balanced beers. Expect moderate nutty and stone-fruit esters. Best used for the production of cask-conditioned bitters, ESB and mild ales. Reliably flocculent, producing bright beer without filtration.

My Favorite Ale Yeast
I've used this yeast for American Pale Ales when fermented at low temperatures and an assortment of English ales and have been very pleased. It doesn't kill your hops profile and provides a really nice fruity aroma if incubated on the warm side. It is a real top-cropping yeast, which makes it really easy to spoon off a sample to save for your next brew.
