Motueka makes an excellent dual-use hop, carrying an exciting fruit aroma with refreshing notes of tropical fruit and citrus. It can be used at any point during the brewing process and works well in sweet, malty and fruity beers. First impressions are a very lively aroma with lemon and lime followed by a background of tropical fruit.
Use in: Belgian Ales and gives a real edge to Cask Bitter. Also suitable for producing bigger more traditional style Lagers, especially Bohemian Pilsner.
