Silicon Waterless Airlock

  • Image 1

Silicone stopper acts as both a stopper and an airlock. It’s unique design allows CO2 pressure to escape but keeps oxygen and airborne contaminates out. It will also create a vacuum when your wort is cooling or if you move your fermenter into a cooler environment (no more sucking back water out of the old airlocks). It's silicone, handles up to 570 degrees, so it can be boiled for sanitizing and cleaning.

Note: Silicone is slippery when wet, so the airlock needs to be dry and the inside neck of the carboy needs to be dry. If they are wet, the airlock will try to pop back out.
