Auto closing spring for Intertap faucets. A spring that forces the tap handle back to the closed position when you let go. This spring is designed to work with the Intertap Stainless Steel shank, though we have found it to work with our stainless shanks.

Finally, A Self Closing Tap
I have a modified Igloo Cooler that I added a shank and tap to for tail gating. I holds 2 1/2 or 3 gallon corney kegs. The problem has been that the tap handle accidently gets bumped open or is left open spilling beer on the ground. When I saw this faucet and spring, I just had to try it and it works! Open the tap and when you let go of the handle, it closes automatically! Great idea well executed.
